What should I bring?
Your own bike set up the way you ride it, your race helmet, shoes and kit, and anything you want to compare, such as a second helmet, wheels or a skinsuit.
How long is an aero camp?
It depends on the venue and on how many changes you want to test. The booking page for each camp states the times.
Which bikes can I test?
Bring the bike you want to measure. Time trial and triathlon bikes are common, and a fitter will tell you on arrival whether your setup can be measured.
Can I test my helmet, wheels or skinsuit?
Yes. Each one is a change, tested alone against your baseline, so you see what it did and what it did not do.
What does the report contain?
Every change you tested, the result with its range, and the outcome in words: faster and confirmed, no measurable difference, needs a confirmation run, or can't call it yet.
What does no measurable difference mean?
The change moved the result by less than the measurement noise. It may have helped a little or hurt a little. The test cannot tell, so choose on comfort or cost.
Why is there a repeat run?
One run can look faster by chance. A change is called only when it sits outside measurement noise and a repeat run agrees.
Which venues do camps run at?
Grenchen, Aigle (UCI World Cycling Centre), Valencia, Gent, Apeldoorn, Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Büttgen. Which venue hosts which date is on the booking site.
Is the session supervised?
Yes. A Bike Fit Europe bike fitter supervises every session on the velodrome.
How do I book?
Through the Bike Fit Europe booking site. Pick a camp date or the bike fit and aero bundle and follow the steps there.
Is remote analysis available?
It is planned for runs recorded at your own track session, but it is unavailable today. It will need an air logger on site. Without one, results are relative only.
