This is sample data
The ride behind this report was simulated, with the true answer set in advance. The rider and the track are fictional. The report was produced by the same analysis as a real one, so it shows how a result looks. It is no forecast of what a change will do for you.
The report itself appears in English, as athletes receive it today.

CdA is your drag area in square metres: lower means less drag. The range shows how far each number could move with more laps.

What it is worth
Race pace 45.0 km/h over 40 km, entered by your fitter for this session.
- Line: watts saved at each speed
- Band: the range
- Red ring: the saving at your race pace
- Grey bar with caps: the range at that pace
- Red tick in the strip: seconds saved over 40 km
- Numbered disc: the note of that number below
- At your race pace of 45.0 km/h, Setup B saves 17 W (range 10–23 W).
- 62.8 s saved over 40 km (range 38.1–87.8 s).
- At the fastest speed shown, 55.0 km/h, Setup B saves 30 W (range 18–42 W).
How consistent were the laps
Show the lap-by-lap check
- Dot: one lap estimate
- Short line: the run's CdA
- Band: the run's range
- Numbered disc: the note of that number below
- The band is the run's range: where its true CdA most likely sits. Its width comes from how much the lap estimates vary. Each run's range also allows for uncertainty in the power meter's timing. Some runs' ranges also allow for slow drift during the run. Every range is wider than the lap estimates alone would make it. Single lap estimates can still fall outside the band: each rests on one lap, while the band is for the whole run.

Speed is the speed the measurement used; power is shown as recorded.

- Thick line: samples the measurement used
- Thin line: the rest of the run

not measured.
Reason: too few clean laps to give a number. Your fitter can ride this setup again.
A setup that could not be measured shows no number at all. Example wording.
How to read this report
- CdA
- Your drag area in square metres. Lower means less drag. We show it to three decimals, always with its range.
- Range
- Where the true value most likely sits, given how much your laps varied. A wide range means the laps disagreed more.
- Noise band
- The smallest change this track can tell apart, measured on a calibration day. Until it is measured no band is drawn.
- Baseline
- The position you arrived in. Every watt and second in this report is measured against it.
What to do next
Ride the “Setup B” setup in training first, then race in it. Ask your fitter to write down the exact settings.
Re-test after any change to your position, bike or kit. Today's baseline makes the next comparison quicker.
How sure we are
Every result comes with a range. We are 95% sure the true change sits inside it, and that holds for all the setups at once. We call a setup faster or slower only when its whole range sits on one side of zero and the change is bigger than a set minimum. This track's own noise band is still to be measured, so until its calibration day that minimum is a provisional standard value. Everything else reads as no measurable difference.
About this test
- Some ride data was patchy, with gaps or uneven recording. The result leans on the clean parts of each run, so treat fine differences with care.
- Effort or position varied more than ideal during some runs. That adds noise, and it can hide small differences between setups.

The answer that was planted
In the simulation, the change was set to alter drag by −5.5%. The report's 95% range for that change is −8.4% to −3.7%, and it contains the set value.
The simulated session rode the baseline at the start and at the end, alternated it with the change, and added a block of repeat runs before any gain was reported.
